Address: 727-734 W. Main Street, Louisville, Kentucky. This view of W. Main Street shows a number of businesses including Carter Dry Goods Co., The National Grocer Co., and McCord Company. The street scene includes cars and trucks, horses with wagons, and pedestrians. The street is cobblestone with trolley tracks in the middle. Utility lines are visible running down the street, but the street lamp appears to be gas-powered. The 700 block of W. Main Street was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
